ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hailing from Fulham in West London, the author spent his formative years fishing with his dad on the River Thames and numerous gravel pits that pepper the Thames Valley. From a very young age it was obvious that a career surrounded by fish would be his chosen path and so academic study, leading to a Doctorate in fish ecology, followed by a career in the fishing tackle industry followed. Now, at the age of 43, the author lives with his wife and cats in the West Midlands, working as an angling writer, consultant and photographer and has contributed more than one million
